The Mid-Valley Claims Association is committed to full compliance with all applicable federal and state antitrust laws. These laws are designed to preserve a competitive economy and promote fair competition. Our association and its members must conduct all activities in strict accordance with these principles.

Prohibited Conduct

Members of the Mid-Valley Claims Association shall not engage in any discussions, agreements, or activities that could be perceived as:

  • Boycotting or refusing to deal with particular vendors, suppliers, or customers

Meeting Guidelines

At all association meetings, conferences, and events, participants should:

  • Follow prepared agendas that have been reviewed for antitrust compliance

  • Refrain from discussing individual company business plans or strategies
  • Not share information about specific customers or contractual terms
  • Report any concerns about potential antitrust violations to association leadership

Permitted Activities

The association encourages legitimate professional activities including:

  • Educational programs on industry developments and best practices
  • Professional development and continuing education
  • Networking opportunities that do not involve competitive discussions
  • Advocacy on legislative and regulatory matters affecting the industry
  • Development of voluntary professional standards and ethics guidelines

Member Responsibility

Consequences of Violations
